Just getting started

I've been thinking for awhile that it's time to consolidate. Where I can, at least. I had three blogs on blogger for years--an art blog, a life blog, and a book blog, and an Etsy shop. And then, I had a portfolio website here. Why have three different blogs, a shop, and a totally separate website when they could all be in the same place? I updated them all occasionally, but it was just all so spread out.

So I'm only going to blog here from now on. There won't be any one theme to this blog other than "Things Sarah Does," which could could include painting, crafting, other art projects, cooking, baking, illustrating... and whatever I feel like saying. I'm going to be keeping the portfolio as the main page of the website because that's still what I want people to see. But stuff that I want to show people that doesn't go right into the portfolio will go here. If at some future date I decide I'm ready to sell again, the shop will also be right here.

Also, having only used blogger before now, I'm curious to see how things work on weebly. So, if you're reading this, I'm asking you to please comment below. You can either just say hi, or give me a suggestion on what you think would be a cool image to put across the top of this page, where that weird curly black and white thing is right now. (I'm allowed to say its weird because I made it, years ago.)

Can you put images of your artwork at the top? And change it seasonally? You have tons of stuff, but it would be fun to have your personal favorites (or an image of detailing from them) posted at the top.
